Product Description
The Apogee Connect Series 16 Mic Pre + AES/Optical Symphony I/O Module is designed for use with Apogee's Symphony I/O MkII audio interfaces (Thunderbolt or Dante configurations only). Simply slot in the module for access to 16 mic/line inputs, as well as 16 channels of AES digital outputs. It also includes output connectors for ADAT, S/PDIF, and SMUX over TOSLINK optical ports, as well as S/PDIF digital RCA I/O with up to 192 kHz over coaxial terminations.
The module can handle sample rates of up to 192 kHz, depending on the digital connection, and offers a low latency of 1.35 ms at 96 kHz. 72 dB of gain is available on the analog inputs in 1 dB increments with noiseless gain adjustments, as well as switchable impedances to support passive mic splitting in live-performance applications.
Once the unit is installed into your Symphony I/O Mk II, you'll be able to control all the mic preamps from the front panel, or utilize Apogee's control software to make changes within your computer.
