Two I/O cards in one
In the past you had to buy two cards to get optical and AES connectivity in your Symphony I/O. With the new Symphony 8x8 Analog I/O + 8x8 AES/Optical I/O Module you get all the flexibility and I/O options you could want in one card. Add this card to your Symphony I/O and you'll never need to add another.
Flexible I/O for all your needs
The Symphony 8x8 Analog I/O + 8x8 AES/Optical I/O Module adds a full 16 channels (input and output) to your Apogee Symphony I/O. The analog I/O consists of two 25-pin D-Sub connectors: one for input and one for output. Each carries eight balanced channels. A third 25-pin D-Sub connector carries eight channels of AES/EBU digital I/O. You can also configure this connector in a single-wide 192kHz format. Four optical ports give your Symphony I/O a full selection of optical output, including S/MUX, ADAT, and S/PDIF formats. An additional set of RCA jacks adds S/PDIF I/O.
Features:
- Add 8 channels of analog I/O and 8 channels of digital or optical I/O to your Symphony I/O interface
- Separate 25-pin D-Sub connectors for balanced analog input, analog output, and AES/EBU I/O
- 2 x Optical inputs and outputs for ADAT and SMUX
- 2 x RCA and Optical jacks for S/PDIF I/O
- Up to 24-bit/192kHz digital audio using the single-wide AES/EBU format
