Product Description

Vintage API 525 compressor/limiter. Thick and gluey sounding. Features include a de-esser and these adjustable settings:

  • In
  • Out
  • Threshold
  • Ceiling
  • Attack
  • Release

    • Along with all the typical uses of a compressor/limiter, the 525 is one of the best bass compressors on the planet. Excellent for long extended bass release times, (comparable to the infamous DBX 160vu). Rewired to fit conventional 550a wiring slots.
