The ADAM Audio S7A Mk2 main monitor delivers unparalleled audio quality. Featuring seven custom drivers, the S7A Mk2 offers a linear frequency response from 20 Hz to 50 kHz. FOUR-WAY DESIGN

The S7A Mk2 is a high resolution four-way monitoring system with a wide, balanced stereo image. Its highly directional sound radiation reduces early reflections on the hard surfaces like mixing consoles and desks. Each driver is mounted using Adam’s new Impulse Coupling method, which utilizes an acoustically flat, ultra-stiff 25 mm-thick aluminum honeycomb plate to reduce resonances from the wooden cabinet.

POWERFUL LOWS

Equipped with two custom 15-inch kevlar-coated HexaCone woofers, the S7A Mk2 offers powerful low-end. This extremely rigid yet lightweight design prevents the cone from distorting, even at extremely high levels. Spacious front-firing bass reflex ports improve low-end accuracy and minimize compression.

Many traditional reference monitors feature massive woofers designed to impress listeners, which often cause excessive bass response. ADAM woofers have been designed to reproduce sound material with the highest possible accuracy for ideal translation.

BRILLIANT HIGHS

ADAM Audio’s groundbreaking new eXtended Accelerated Ribbon Technology (X-ART) tweeter delivers unprecedented audio fidelity. By utilizing folded diaphragms, the X-ART tweeter significantly reduces distortion. With a surface area 2.5 times bigger than traditional tweeters and a 4:1 air velocity ratio, X-ART membranes offer lighting-fast transient response. With extremely high efficiency and an almost perfectly-linear impedance, these handmade tweeters deliver superior performance.

BALANCED MIDS

The S7A Mk2 utilizes two nine-inch midrange HexaCone drivers to deliver a detailed midrange with improved transient response. Two additional X-ART midrange drivers deliver smooth, open, accurate mids. With a diaphragm that weighs only a fraction of comparable voice coil units, X-ART Midrange drivers offer an extended frequency range from 400 Hz to 20 kHz.

PULSE WAVE MODULATION

S7A Mk2 monitors are equipped with custom Pulse Width Modulation (PMW) amplifiers for their extremely high efficiency. With over 3,00 total Watts of power, the S7A Mk2 is capable of achieving a maximum SPL of 128 dB with minimal distortion. Combined with state-of-the-art input and filter sections the S7A Mk2 offers unparalleled audio quality.

MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY

ADAM Audio S7A Mk2 monitor come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, which can be extended to five years with registration.
