A7X Nearfield Monitor
The Adam Audio A7X is the successor to the best-selling A7 studio monitor. The new award-winning A7X offers new features superior sound quality. Equipped with a cutting-edge X-ART tweeter, a custom 7-inch woofer, and a 50 Watt A/B amplifier, A7X studio monitors deliver an extended frequency range of 42 Hz - 50 kHz. Ideal for music, broadcast, and post production, A7X monitors offer detailed, balanced sound.
X-ART TECHNOLOGY
A7X studio monitors utilize Accelerating Ribbon Technology to deliver an extended frequency response. Capable of accurately reproducing frequencies from 42 Hz - 50 kHz, A7X studio monitors offer unprecedented sound quality. The A7X’s precision X-ART tweeters are handmade in Germany. By utilizing a custom pleated diaphragm design, A7X monitors are able to achieve maximum SPLs of up to 114 dB without breaking up or distorting like traditional studio monitors. By folding the X-ART diaphragm, a larger foil can be used, which significantly improves dynamics and transient response.
HEXACONE WOOFER
A7X hexagon woofers use a honeycomb Nomex structure that makes them both extremely light and very stiff. This kevlar-coated design makes for an extremely rigid woofer, allowing for extremely high SPLs without fear of distortion. There’s a lot going on under the hood of A7X studio monitors, but every component is precisely aligned for optimal low frequency reproduction. A7X monitors offer ideal translation to the widest range of systems and environments.
50 WATT A/B AMPS
Adam A7X studio monitors are equipped with custom Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) amplifiers for maximum efficiency. These powerful amps also cut down on internal temperatures, removing the need for heat sinks and reducing the overall weight. A7X studio monitors use the new PWM technology and state-of-the-art input and filter sections to achieve unprecedented audio fidelity. Whether you’re in a small project studio or a full-scale sound stage, the A7X monitors deliver pristine sound.
SUB12 Subwoofer
The Adam Audio Sub12 is powerful 12-inch subwoofer designed for use with near or midfield monitoring systems. With a sturdy woofer, an extended cone, and a rugged voice coil, Sub12 subwoofers offer an extended frequency response down to 22 Hz. Equipped with a 300 W PWM amplifier, Sub12 is so loud you’ll swear the kick drum is actually kicking you in the chest.

Fill out the frequency response of your favorite near or midfield monitors with Sub12. Capable of delivering a linear frequency response down to 22 Hz, Sub12 subwoofers allow you to accurately make critical mix decisions in the sub bass frequencies. Sub12 subwoofers utilize a down-firing bass reflex tube to avoid unwanted ventilation noise.
Equipped with a high-efficiency PWM amplifier that produces over 90% efficiency, Sub12 subwoofers can be used for hours on end without fear of overheating. Capable of delivering powerful, distortion-free sound at levels up to 115 dB SPL, Sub12 packs a powerful punch. A special 12-inch woofer with a paper diaphragm helps prevent ear fatigue during long listening sessions.
ENDLESSLY TWEAKABLE
Sub12 subwoofers can be customized to suit any studio. Quickly toggle Sub12 on or off with an optional foot switch to A/B your mix without taking your hands off the keyboard. Fine-tune your monitoring system with a selectable crossover frequency. Create a double bass array with the additional sub output. Or high-pass satellite speaker outputs for an optimal film mixing setup.
VERSATILE DESIGN
With analog XLR and RCA input, Sub12 subwoofers offer balanced and unbalanced connections for use in professional and home theater settings. And with a small, compact frame, they fit neatly in any mixing environment. Adam Audio Sub12 subwoofers come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, which can be extended to five years with registration.
