The ADAM Audio The Dresden Room Matched 2.2 System includes two S5V premium 3-way vertical mid-field monitors with 12" woofers bundled with two Sub15 subwoofers capable of extending the frequency range of main and midfield monitors down to 20 Hz.


S5V VERTICAL MONITOR

The Adam Audio S5V is an award-winning reference monitor designed for medium and large-sized control rooms. Featuring an all-new 12-inch bass driver, a 4-inch hybrid dome/cone hybrid driver, and a precision S-ART folded-ribbon tweeter, the S5V combines raw power with unparalleled accuracy.

SYMMETRICAL MAGNET ASSEMBLY DRIVER

Extended Linear Excursion (ELE) bass drivers offer a linear bass response down to 25 Hz. A newly developed Symmetrical Magnet Assembly (SMA) design allows the driver to accurately reproduce low-frequency signals without distortion. Powered by a Class D 700 W amplifier, the S5V’s bass unit delivers unparalleled low-end performance.

DOME/CONE HYBRID DRIVER

The S5V’s midrange driver features a proprietary hybrid design, combining the linear frequency response of a dome driver with the high output level of a cone driver. This audibly improves transparency in the mid-range and allows for distortion-free reproduction at high output levels. Equipped with a 300 W Class D amplifier, the DCH driver delivers precision midrange performance.

FOLDED-RIBBON TWEETER

Each of Adam Audio’s legendary S-ART folded-ribbon tweeters are handmade in Berlin to the highest standards. Capable of delivering a linear frequency response up to 50 kHz, the S-ART tweeter offers industry-leading accuracy. Adam Audio’s high- and mid-frequency waveguides improve clarity in the critical midrange frequencies. Mid-range and High-frequency Propagation System provide an extremely accurate off-axis response.

ADVANCED DIGITAL PROCESSING

S Series monitors are equipped with a high-performance DSP-powered crossover to for optimum frequency response and an extended dynamic range. This powerful DSP engine also offers an array of options for in-room optimization, like an eight-band parametric EQ, custom voicing presets, and limiter-based protection.

Accessing DSP functions is fast and easy with the built-in USB port. Simply connect your S Series monitors to your computer and tweak settings using the free software interface. In addition to standard XLR inputs, S Series monitors offer digital AES3 inputs for added versatility and expansion options in the future.


SUB15 Subwoofer

The Adam Audio Sub15 is powerful 15-inch subwoofer that combines excellent transient response with an impressive low frequency output. Equipped with a rigid aluminum woofer, an extended cone, and a rugged voice coil, Sub15 subwoofers offer an extended frequency response down to 20 Hz. Equipped with an impressive 1200 W PWM amplifier, Sub15 is perfect for mid-sized and larger control rooms.

UNPARALLELED PERFORMANCE

The low end of a mix can make or break a track. Sub15 subwoofers enable you to accurately make critical mix decisions regarding the low end. Capable of delivering a linear frequency response down to 20 Hz, Sub15 subwoofers are perfect for mixing bass-heavy genres like pop, hip-hop and R&B, or post production for film and video projects.

Equipped with a highly efficiency 1200 W PWM amplifier, Sub15 subwoofers can be used for hours on end without fear of overheating. Capable of achieving levels up to 120 dB SPL, Sub15 delivers powerful, distortion-free sound at any level. A special 15-inch woofer with a aluminum diaphragm helps prevent ear fatigue, while a down-firing bass reflex tube avoids unwanted ventilation noise.

HIGHLY CUSTOMIZABLE

Sub15 subwoofers can be customized to suit any studio. With an optional foot switch, you can quickly toggle Sub15 on or off to A/B tracks with and without low end. Fine-tune your monitoring system by dialing in the crossover between 50 and 150 Hz. Create a double bass array with the additional sub output, or high-pass satellite speaker outputs for an optimal film mixing setup.

VERSATILE DESIGN

With analog XLR and RCA input, Sub15 subwoofers offer balanced and unbalanced connections for use in professional and home theater settings. And with a small, compact frame, they fit neatly in any mixing environment. Adam Audio Sub15 subwoofers come with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, which can be extended to five years with registration.
