Product Description
The AboveGroundFX Compressor Pedal is quite possibly the quietest full-bandwidth flat response compressor we have come across. The OTA-based Compressor circuit focuses on altering just the amplitude of the signal not the bandwidth. This combined with a slightly slower response time means none of the tone-suck and internal noise associated with most compressor pedals. This kind of superior performance isn’t by accident. Peña’s singular focus on perfect circuit layout means that signal interference is minimized to the point that no additional tone-killing noise filtering is required.
With a flat response from 20Hz-22kHz, Compressor gives you a lot of creative control over your signal, from slight compression to super squished. All that clean bandwidth also sounds killer when used with bass guitar. If you’ve been avoiding adding a compressor to your rig because it’s like throwing a mud-soaked blanket over your amp, AboveGround’s Compressor will change your mind forever.
