Chandler Limited Introduces New TG Microphone

Chandler Limited has always been known for their incredible analog hardware. However, with the release of the new TG Microphone, the brand is also solidifying their reputation for creating outstanding mics.

Coming hot on the heels of the highly successfully EMI REDD Microphone, the TG Microphone is a new solid-state large diaphragm condenser mic. Once again, Chandler Limited is giving you the option to alter your sound at the source by giving the microphone a plethora of on-board tools.

The Chandler Limited TG Microphone is an extremely versatile mic and can offer a lot to your studio. Watch our new demo video below to hear the microphone and it's onboard functions at use on several different sound sources.

The TG Microphone features an on-board "Tape Equalizer" section that has been brought over from the legendary NAB/IEC tape equalizer of vintage EMI TG mastering desks. This functionality will offer engineers the chance to creatively sculpt their sound as opposed to using outboard gear or plug-ins.

To further alter the sound at the source, Chandler Limited's TG Microphone also features two switches on the body's rear. The first switch is a selectable 90/50 Hz Low-Cut filter. The other switch is for a "Dual Tone System" which effectively changes the mic's input and extends the frequency range. When switched to "A," the TG Microphone is more mid forward and when switched to "B," its capable of better handling extremely high SPLs.

Chandler Limited has done it once again, creating a new exciting microphone that puts the power of shaping your sound in the mic itself. Stay tuned for sound samples and more information on the new TG Microphone.
